Internship Opportunities
Antoine Members for Congress is pleased to announce that internship positions are being made available to college students in the Chicago area. As many students know, a career in the politics can be very competitive. If you ever heard the phrase “it’s not what you know it’s who you know” it does not apply here. Members for Congress will be taking a select few highly motivated students not based on who they know, but on their willingness to work hard and make a difference in our community. If students are interested in a career in politics, interning for a political candidate is a great starting point! Grassroots is the nuts and bolts of politics without it issues are not heard and politicians cannot get elected. Antoine Members is running in the IL 1st Congressional District and is looking for individuals with a passion for politics
Qualifications:

- Must be reliable
- Must be passionate
- Must be a college student

Important Information:
Contributions are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Federal Election Law requires us to report the name, address, occupation, and employer for contributions that aggregate in excess of $200 in an election cycle. The maximum an individual may contribute is $2,300 per election, with the primary and general elections treated separately. As a result, any initial contribution up to $2,300 is designated for the primary and any additional amount is designated for the general, up to a total of $4600 per person. A couple may contribute $9,200, designated per person in accordance with the preceding sentence. Federal multi-candidate PACs may contribute $5,000 for the primary and $5,000 for the general. Contributions from corporations, labor organizations, federal government contractors, and foreign nationals without permanent residency status ("green cards") are prohibited. |
