Antoine Members - The Issues

U.S. Congress candidate Antoine Members was born andraised on the Westside of Chicago. He worked in the health care industry for seven years and currently works for Cook County Dept of Corrections.

Better Schools

More spending on education doesn’t equal better schools for our children. In 2005, D.C public school system had the highest spending per pupil in the nation. By the end of the spending binge, D.C schools were still the worst in the nation. The solution is to hold superintendents, principals and teachers to a high standard of accountability, induce large companies to invest in the education systems and promote parental involvement.

Higher Paying Jobs

The solution for higher paying jobs is to legislate fiscal policies that will ultimately lower taxes for business owners, so they can spend more money on their employees.

Lower Taxes

Lower taxes help small businesses create more jobs by decreasing the corporate tax, and by eliminating the death and capital gains taxes.

Smaller Government

A smaller government provides the private citizen the ability to choose the best schools for their children, the best health care plan for their family and lastly, causes businesses to create more jobs for American citizens.
